The only way to make any lasting change is to take into account all the elements of nature and how they work together. This is how we design community models based on creating lasting self-sufficiency with regards to the individual, while maintaining a sustainable relationship with regards to the environment.
For most most people in developing communities the basic necessities include having water, food, and shelter. Everything else including power tools, electricity, electronic communication, and motorized vehicles are still a luxery, at best. For many people these are seemingly impossible to obtain with their limited resources.
We enable people to take advantage of their surroundings by engineering their own tools and providing themselves the basics of modern life with what is available from nature, and good will. Doing this in harmony with nature is the key to creating a truly sustainable relationship ro sustain a self-sufficient life.
Currently, our methods are limited by lack of resources, and are prioritized as such:
